Delete extra space created from lyrics
Hi all--I have a hymn here that had three verses but has now been reduced to two verses. When I deleted the words to the third verse, a blank white space was left that I cannot get rid of now. How do I get rid of this space between my staves? Thank you!

Created (at least last saved) with 3.5.2)
I don't see any issue when looking at it with 3.6.2.

Where do you see a blank white space?

I see what seems to be the normal spreading of your staves to fill the page better. If you prefer less space, just reduce the max system distance in Format / Style / Page. Also keep in mind there is always a margin below the bottom lyric to separate it from the next staff, but you can customize that with Format / Style / Lyrics.

This solution fixed it! Thank you!
One guess, though: are you in continuous view? it's normal that space won't go away immediately. It won't be visible in page view, and will disappear in continuous view as well as soon as you perform any operation that forces the entire score to be relaid out anew.
I suppose, it isn't an issue with the lyrics as more of the system distance? As long as it matches inside the system distance, there will be left an empty space to the next system. To change it, adjust the min/max system distance in format->style...->page.
