No bug fixes on version 3.6.2
I reported a possible bug, but then I realized that I had heard a few months ago that version 3.6.2 is going to be the last version before version 4. Does that mean there will be no more bug fixes on 3.6.2?

I think they will leave it as it is and move to 4.x - which is what we experienced when upgrading from 2.x to 3.x' versions.
I don't hope but I think it would be nice if they release a final 3.6.x version with all the latest fixes before 4.x comes out.
PS: Currently the only option is to download and use the latest Nightly 3.x versions. I don't know if you would be happy with these applications, as they work like semi-portables.
Yes, it does mean that, unfortunately, no further 3.x is planned.

Ok. thank you JoJo. So don't submit any more bugs on 3.6.2? Or could we still submit them and they 'may' be fixed in a nightly release?

Depends on the bug I guess. Bugs with the 3.x UI won't get fixed for 4.0, all others though should

OK, Thanks. I will keep that in mind. I guess bugs that break the program should get fixed.

Bugs with 3.6.2 will usually also exist in MuseScore 4 unless someone fixes them, so definitely don't stop submitting bug reports. Bugs in 3.6.2 will generally get fixed where possible, for MuseScore 4. Just bugs in MuseScore 1.3 got fixed in 2.0, and bugs in 2.3.2 got fixed in 3.0. The fact that some given release happens to be the last with that particular major version number isn't really significant as far as that goes.
