Automatic rests in cross-stave beams?
Hi all,
I'm trying to get into Musescore, but I'm still struggling with the rests.
In the attached score in measure 7, I've entered the notes in the left hand and then flipped the notes to the right hand with ctrl+shift+arrow up. The beam flows nicely to the right hand. However, rests are being added.
My questions:
1. how can I delete the rests in the right hand?
2. in the left hand is also a rest but that one should be at the end of the measure. But the software doesn't let me. Help!

Swapping as many notes as possibile to voice 1, deleting voice 2+ rests, re-entring the cross-staff ones to have the rest at the end

Wow, good to know. You would recommend doing as little with voice 2 as possible?
Many thanks for your help!

Yes, stay in voice 1 as long as you possibly can

Last question: how can I then align the a with the e and c (right hand) in the next measure (8)? It's what I use voice 2 for (before your advise).
