Brackets resetting when I edit the score
I'm a harpist and use brackets over several notes to show how to place fingers. I angle them up or down depending on the direction of the notes. I wrote a book of songs for beginners and just cut a vertical frame (the title "Bells") to try to save a little room and when I did that all the brackets reverted to a straight line and lengthened. Fortunately, when I closed it I didn't save the changes to it went back to the angles. Is there any way to avoid this?

Sorry- you need the file, not a PNG. I will attach one

Here is the same piece before removing the Vertical Frame that says "Bells" and after. You'll see in measures 9-12 the brackets all straighten and lengthen. Thanks for your help!

Confirmed. I don't see why though

Seems like a bug. I think the frame counts as a "system" internally, and perhaps somehow deleting it is fooling MuseScore into thinking the subsequent manual adjustments aren't good anymore. That would potentially be true if it somehow changed which measures were in which system, but that's not the case here.

Ok- thank you. I'll be aware of it.
