Repeat counts not working
Pretty sure this used to work, but I have a tune with two endings in the first part. Supposed to play 1,2,1,2. I modified the play count to 4 on the first repeat, set repeat lists 1,3 and 2,4 using the inspector. These settings appear to be ignored and it behaves as if there were only a first and second ending.

You want it to play 4 times in total, so that's what the play count should be. And is what you have too...
But indeed that doesn't help/work, no idea why.

Yes, I should have said 1,2,1,2 and repeat count 4. Edited my post.

The final end repeat in measure 19 is problematic. Here it is written out:
Reel_de_l'amitiéA (1).mscz
Seems like the song should end on a D note rather than the F# (which seems more like a pick-up note).
Another version without the middle section repeated:

With the middle section repeated:

All that was needed was the end repeat in measure 11. Measure 19 should have a repeat. It is common for fiddle tunes to repeat ad infinitum, hence the F# at the end.

Yikes!
So then somewhere there's a fiddler still playing your score? ;-)

Rather ad libitum :-)

You’ve never been to an old time jam? Repeat until someone finally grows weary.
Your 2,4 volta doesn't have an end repeat, so after the 2nd repeat the score continues.
When the end repeat at the end of the score is encountered, it sends the score back to the start repeat of m12, which is after the whole volta logic construct.
So what is the intended playback order supposed to be?

Darn, I thought the last volta doesn't need a repeat barline?
Or is that only if it is to be played only once and only in the very last round?

I thought so, too!

It doesn't need one if it doesn't repeat (so yes, only for a last round volta).

That makes sense. Thanks!
