Parenthesis in cautionary accidentals do not transfer from the score to parts and vice versa

When you apply cautionary accidentals to a note (by manually adding an accidental, selecting the accidental, and clicking the parenthesis box in the "Accidentals" palette), the parenthesis do not transfer from the score to the parts, or vice versa (regardless of where you edit the note).
For example, if I add a cautionary accidental in a part (with parenthesis), the accidental will show in the score, but the parenthesis will not. The same happens if I add a cautionary accidental in a part (the parenthesis will not appear in the score).

Has anyone else experienced this? I'm not sure if it's intentional for other (unknown) reasons...
