Keyboard shortcut for inserting last inserted symbol?
Apologies if this information is available, I have drawn a blank.
Is there a shortcut for inserting the last inserted palette symbol?
My apologies if this does not exist and this should have been posted in feature request, I just remember somewhere that this shortcut does exist, yet I've drawn a blank in attempting to find it. If it doesn't exist I will delete this and post into feature requests.

But the command apply last pallet item can be assigned to a shortcut via [Edit]>[Preferences]>[Shortcuts]

Go to menu item: Edit > Preferences then, on the 'Shortcuts' tab, look for "apply current palette element".
There you can define a shortcut for this, allowing you to keep reusing the last palette element.
