composer / lyricist etc just on first page
I searched for this, but didn't find it readily in other forum questions.
I think I have done this before, but darned if I can figure out how to put the composer, lyricist, or other meta tags on the first page only.
It seems like header and footer cannot be set to first page only, so I can't use the meta tags there and the meta tags don't seem to work in other text fields (correct? why not?).
So, what is the best way to add composer/lyricist etc to the header area of the first page only?
I would like to add the "last modified" date only to the first page, can't figure that out either.
TIA,
Peter

Stop searching: there's no 'lyricist on first page only' option.
Instead use the title frame and have composer, title, lyricist there

Yes, that is the only way to do it. And this is the way that the MuseScore "wizard" does it automatically for scores and the way that Parts are generated.
However, it does not use the value of the properties. You cannot use meta tags in the title frame. You have to type it in again. And if you need to change it, you have to change it in two places. Both in the Score Properties dialog, and separately in the title frame.
I think it would be great if it was possible to use the meta tags also in the title frame. Is there a "feature request" for this?
