How to delete a staff or many staffs?

- to delete a single measure: select the measure, press ctrl+del
- to delete more than one measure (=staffs): select the first measure you want to remove, press shift and select the last measure you want to remove, then press ctrl+del

Note: "del" removes measure elements, "ctrl+del" removes measures

and Ctrl+Del removes measures in all staves of the system, even if the selection is not accross all staves, while Del only 'empties' the selected measures
Press I, select the staff to remove and then the remove button.
If you really want to remove stafes, not measures, if the latter see above
(@kuwitt: multiple measures is not the same thing as a staff)

Hello, Jojo
I need to remove only the first staff to make more space to write the vocal. This vocal dose not need be on any staff!
When I press "I", it opens the Instrument window.

And when I try to select the first staff, I doesn't happen. I am not able to select only the staff!
If you come up with other way to maybe move all of staffs down. It could work too :-)

You score only has one straff - if you deleted it, there would be no staff at all, no way to write notes.
It hard to tell from just a picture, but if you're saying you just wanted room to add something new, you don't start by deleting anything at all - just add the thing you want. If you want to add another staff for vocal, just add it, and make sure it's above the existing staff. Or if you mean you want to add a frame for text above the first system of your score, just add that.
If you need further help, please attach your actual score (not just a picture) and describe in more detail what you are trying to do. Then we can understand and assist better.

I rewrite what I want, maybe it helps.
I want to write some part of vocal in the first part, then the staff begins to write the music.

And to be clear - the text frame creates space automatically. No need to delete anything first.
