Remove beams
I need to find out how to remove the beams from consecutive quavers. I have tried right clicking and choosing cut and delete, but they're still there. Ideally I would like to be able to choose when to allow them.

To create old-style vocal beaming automatically, see the Traditional Vocal Beaming plugin, which you can download and install via the Download / Plugins menu above on this site. To use it, enter your lyrics first then run the plugin. it will automatically figure out where to break beams according to the syllables and do it for you.
