Horizontal score scrolling - how to make it stop?

The score is being displayed as a "single page" and I would like to have it freeze horizontally in the window - right now if I move the mouse right or left, the window goes with it but there's nothing to show other than white space and, if you move it far enough, the score disappears. Not a show-stopper, just a little annoying.

I've dug thru the doc and can't find anything about this. This happens on my laptop and my desktop machine.

I don't fully understand what you prefer, but try this:

Instead of "Single Page" use "Page View"
and...
Use menu item: Edit > Preferences... then in the 'Canvas' tab set 'Scroll Pages' to 'Vertically', also place a check in 'Limit scroll area to page borders'.
