MuseScore 4.0 — Sluggish aspects in the interface
I've noticed a sluggish feel in MuseScore 4.0's Properties Panel—which was not the case in MS3.
For example, Notehead system: Auto. Perhaps this is because MS 4.0 handles drop down menus via click events rather than mouseDowns.
In MS3 drop downs display on mouseDown. I prefer that instantaneous feel.
Similarly, in the Properties Panel—when attempting to switch between Playback and Appearance—if I hold the mouse down and wait, nothing happens AND nothing happens on mouseUp ... suggesting that MS 4.0 is indeed processing clicks.
I wonder if there's a rational for not running methods on mouseDown events.
But interestingly, and in contrast to the non mouseDown behavior described, a mouseDown causes instant opening of Score: Palettes, Instruments, Properties

And when you add Chords - you have to click space instead of tab for every note - if you want to go to the next bar
Slows me down
The notation of the note A -doesn't work. Not in any of my computers!!

Tab is reserved for navigation and accessibility to be more in line with the expectancy of our blind users.
You can still move to the next measure during chord input by pressing Ctrl/Cmd+right arrow. Which in turn matches the command to navigate the score by full measures as well.

Thanks - will try - and what about the notation of A - have just reversed to factory setting - didn't help a bit - this version slows me so much down
