Capo settings not affecting guitar pitch
This is my second question today because Musescore 4 is just so buggy! I want to like it so badly and I hope that as the holiday season wraps up some of the annoying little issues can get fixed.
I add staff text, I go to properties, I click Capo Settings, I set it to 2, go back out, guitar is at the same pitch it was before. Same with any other number. I’m using the "Guitar" and tablature.
And I haven't seen anyone else with this issue. Wondering if it's a me thing?

Me too, I have the same issue, currently using MuseScore 4.

I was having a similar issue, but then discovered that "Display in concert pitch" was selected on the Staff page of the Style dialog. It was selected by default. Unchecking that fixed it for me.

I've tried with that box both checked and unchecked but I can't get it to work.

In fact, when I do mess with the capo settings, it messes up the octave the guitar plays in for the entire piece. It'll be picking really high notes in the middle of arpeggios and such.
I'm having the exact same problem.
I have the same problem! I tried to get around it by changing each string and that went horribly; I was pretty sure I did it right but it kept sounding completely wrong notes so I'm not sure :/
Having this same issue! Kind of gave me a headache. Tried transferring one of my old scores into Musescore 4 and it was totally messed up. It'd be awesome if they could fix this! :)
The MS4 capo regression is officially acknowledged here.
I'm sure development has triaged the matter.
I hope they fix it soon. And at the same time fix the transposition of chord symbol playback in "capoed" parts.
