Musescore 4 (but also 3) instantly crashes when importing MIDI file.
Hello,
there is no way to import a specific midi file without the software crashes instantly. Currently I'm using vers 4.0.1. But crashes happened also in the previous minor version.
Is there a way to open the midi file?

Does the midi file play in a media player (Windows media player, VLC, Irfan View, Winamp)?
This file seems to have an unexpeted EOF marking (message from MS3.6.2). It does also not open in MS3 but it does in MS2!
See the attached file from MuseScore 2.3.2.
You should be able to open it with MS3 and MS4.

Thanks for the reply! Meanwhile I managed to solve by opening the MIDI in Audacity and then saving it. Musescore now opens it correctly.
