System grouping - too few measures per line, too many in another line
I'm working on a chart. I want to keep a verse to one line, a chorus to one line, etc. so that I can fit the whole chart on a single page and structure is quickly readable. However, when I create a system it gives two entire lines to two measures and a third line has 6 measures. This could/should all fit on one line.
I've tried using '{' and '}' but that only adjusts the measure widths with a multi-measure line, not how many measures fit with in a line.

Remove those "no-break" thingies

That's the way I started but it just arranges it in a different, equally weird way. I just want to get all of these measures onto one line but can't seem to get it to format that way.

Then place system breaks

But a system break moves it to another line. I want all 7 measures on one line.

Then you need wider paper
Or narrower page borders
Or a smaller scaling, the space setting

This is scaled down to 85%. There's got to be a way that 9 measures with minimal information can fit on a line. That doesn't seem like it would be that out of the ordinary.

Huh? Where did you set that?

This is scaled down to 85%.
Please just attach your score (MSCZ file), so that we can see what is really going on.

The only scaling that I was able to find was "Staff/Part properties>Staff properties>scale: [percentage box]"
If there is a different scaling that was referenced, I'm unaware of it.

I meant Format > Page settings > Scaling > Space
