Weird overlapping notes
From a scan - I have this measure that is just nonsense. There are these overlapping notes that don't belong in the measure at all, but I can't click to delete them, either. Reminds me of "layers" when I used to use that "other" editing software. How do I delete them?

Thanks. I'm new to this - longtime user of software like this, though. I was able to delete the entire measure and re-create it from scratch, but a lot of the issues were in voices, as you said, which I would previously have called "layers". Thanks again for the advice. It's all really just a matter of learning new terminology for familiar concepts. Challenging learning curve, but fun!

Sibelius calls them "voices" also.
