Incorrect name

What are we looking at? Are you creating a new score, have you imported a score?

In Windows 10, MuseScore 4.1.1 the (add) Instruments dialog shows this for Vocals:

When added to a score, "A. Bu." shows as the long name and "A." shows as the short name in Staff/Part properties.

Apparently someone or something 'fat fingered' the en_US translations
I'll fix it ASAP
It is more that just Alto, much more :-(
Should be fixed now, after you update the translation and restart MuseScore

For anyone affected by this...
To update the translations, use menu item: Edit > Preferences > General and click on 'Check for language updates'.
Then re-start MuseScore.
