Musescore crash after few notes played
Hi, when I try to write music, MuseScore crash after few notes it has never done it before, I'm actually on the latest version, first it was when using playback with muse hub sounds but I tried with basic musescore sound and it did the same while entering note.
I got 16Go of ram and everything is updated on my computer

Crash occurs either when I'm entering notes, after a few the instant playing of notes get slower and then Musescore crash, it also crash sometimes when playing the second bar.
I'm actually on windows 10 and I downloaded musescore from the website, then went back to musescore 4.1 to see if it would crash again since I didn't have any problem with that version, and then updated it again to the latest version 4.2 from the website.
I'm composing using a midi keyboard but it never caused any problems.
I've already tried restarting Musescore and my PC, also tried to create a new score and it did the same.
If you do need any further information I'll gladly answer

How about No 6? Revert to factory settings?

I've done the factory reset and it still crash, I did write an other E replacing the first C in the first bar of the Cello if you want to know what I did exactly, and it instantly crashed

If I understand correctly, you entered 8 bars in my score and Musescore crashed when you tried to play it. If that is so, please try to add the bars again but don't play it. Save it and post it here.

Here it is, I exactly did that ( in this order ):
- Change the viola key from G to C
- Delete the actual notes
- added my 8 bars on the viola
- delete the ninth bar that I didn't need on the score
- added the pizzicato on cello and bass
- added the notes on the cello then on the bass

I also tried the last dev version, 4.2.1 ( if I remember well) on a new file, but it didn't help

So if I understand, you could play the original file I sent. But when you modified it, the file crashed on playback.
So I resaved your file. See if this one crashes.
I'm trying to see if there is something about your system that is causing this.
