How to mingle two voices in MS4?
Is there any automatic way in MS4 to mingle two voices? I don't mean imploding. I mean something like going from this:

So, would exploding do the same thing? That is, split into two voices, without requiring an additional staff?

Just as the “pre-imploded” picture shows. Upper notes in voice 1, lower notes in voice 2.

Yes, but how would system know that you would want all upper notes to be in voice 1 and all lower in voice 2? What if you want some of the lower to be in the first voice and visa versa?

Then you can swap voices via the command in the menu "Tools -> Voices"

It seems to me that in this case, “merge” might be a better description than “implode.”

The Finale plugin JW Staff Polyphony uses Merge and Split.
