In MuS 3, I can easily change the order of the staves. In the instrument dialog, select an entry and move it up or down using the arrow:
I assume that it works very similarly in MuS 4.
It's not good that you deleted your question.
Others who have a similar problem will not find it in the search and if you have found another method to solve it, you should mention it here.
So now my answer to an unknown question is all alone in the forum ...

I agree. Deleting the original question - once it has been answered - is akin to treating the community-run forum as a commercial help service to be used and dismissed once finished with.

i completely agree but there seems to be a bit of a misunderstanding here unfortunately. Literally moments before the other person helpfully replied, I had actually already decided to delete my post since I managed to figure it out on my own after a quick google. Happy to post the question back up, i was just surprised there was no option to delete my original post

Oh and also, I sorta figured the question I asked was a bit silly/dumb. I should have googled it from the first place rather than bothering people on forums. Another partial reason why I deleted it

WELL. Then I apologize for my comment.
But you're wrong here: there are no silly/dumb questions! I also had to check first whether my suggestion was possible or not. Otherwise it would have been a stupid answer ... :-)

I agree with HildeK. So did my college chemistry professor: "The only stupid question is the one you don't ask."
And the correct action on you finding that answer was to post it: "Hey, this is what I found". Maybe include a link to the Handbook page or a thread post where you found the answer (if that's where you found the answer, of course :-)
Truly every bit of info is useful.
That said, glad you fixed your problem :-)
