Title in Header? Solved
How to?
I want my default template to have a header on every page but the first with the title followed by the page number.
If I enter "$:Work Title:" or "$:Work title:" it doesn't work. I can add a Property to the file, named "Title", then the tag "$:Title:" works, as expected, but I want it to automatically use the title I've already entered.
What am I missing?
Thanks

There's a space too much and an uppercase letter too, it is "$:workTitle:". Read the handbook again and to the letter 😉

Thank you. I've been battling with this issue also. I honestly don't understand requiring the colon at the end of expression, as no other tag requires it.

All tags that are longer than a single letter need a leading and trailing colon. See https://musescore.org/en/handbook/4/header-and-footer
And note in the list $:tag: where tag can be replaced by another meta data name.
