Can you actually open them?
If no, then I think it's the list of recently opened files.
This list only shows links to the files - even if they no longer exist.
You can either delete the entire list or wait until they have moved down and are no longer visible.

Thank you. Oddly enough, the scores in question do not show up among the scores in the folder in Finder, but they're there when I open MuseScore. Huh?

Open them in MuseScore, check
File > Score properties, that should list the location. Then go to that in Finder
