.mxl File not saving correctly, corrupting my entire score :'(
I don't know what else I need to explain. I saved my score as an mxl for compatibility, then the mxl corrupted, leaving my score as a 1kb file I don't know how to get into. Somebody please help, this was my best score I will probably ever make.

It says Bad format, that's it. Musescore itself gave the mxl bad format, WHY?!

I don't know.
But why don't you save the score as a Musescore file (*.mscz) on your PC and then export it as *.mxl?
The mscz file is the original and contains all the information.
However, you can attach the damaged *.mxl file, perhaps it can still be rescued ...
Musescore 4 can't save mxl.
It can only export to mxl.
What exactly did you do?
