newb - is there a way to export only the drums in Midi ?
I've got a few midi files which contain drum information (on line 10), violin, synth etc etc.
I only want to export the drums.
Is this possible in Musescore?

Use parts under File in the menu to extract the drum part. Click the Drum tab then export while still in the drum tab. This will allow you to put only the drum in the Midi file.

Mike, I've searched and searched for the drum tab and cannot find it. The "drum tab" is not mentioned in the manual. How do I get there? (See attached image - Drums are not in the Palette)

Save the file (as *.mscz) after you can export the parts (so it seems to me)
https://musescore.org/en/handbook-advanced-topics/parts
After generating the "Parts" you will see Tabs

Oh ok, I have to go to File -> Parts... and actually make a Part called drums, and assign the parts of the midi file to my just-created part.
Then I can go to the File-> Export Parts... function!
Thanks.
My other question was, - I have actually two lines called Drumset in my midi file. I wonder why they are two. Anyway, I included them in the "drums" part I created.
