Add a new landing page to the handbook.

This has just occurred to me so there may easily be a reason not to do this, but,

I notice that when I go to the handbook I arrive on a page with links and text for all options available.

Sometimes I have to scroll quite a way before finding what I am interested, and I'm sure it must be overwhelming to an inexperienced person.

So, I suggest that the landing page contain only the explanation of what the handbook is and the titles of the various groupings, with each title being clickable to expose the descriptions of that particular group (as they are now) in a drop down menu.

What do you think?

In the Italian version, with a discreet sense of guilt, I have neglected to update the translation. On this side there is not much 'manpower' and on the other side of the pond the changes are frequent. I feel overwhelmed.
Obviously the continuous updating is right, a work in progress to describe the ongoing novelties and collect the community suggestions.
The research, as recently said in another forum, it is a little problematic. Also in the handbook. When you open a page use the Ctrl + F makeup and type the term you are looking for, it is faster than scrolling ...

I like the idea of having the content on one page, but I also like the high level organization to be more obvious. The drop down menu, or expandable/collapsible list, is one way to do this. Another is just put the top level outline at the top of the page, with the full TOC below that, and the headings in the top level outline take you to the corresponding section below. In any case, I definitely would like to see something like this as well.
