First system - Margin and number of measures
Hello and greets to everyone, I´m a first time poster here. I have a quetion regarding the first system. After importing a musicxml file of a chamber work, the first system shows with a much wider space from the margin than the rest of the score (and has fewer measures, by the way). Is there any way, in these cases, to make the first system have the same layout as the rest?

Please share the score and the xml
Most likely either there is a horizontal frame there, or the name of the instrument itself is taking up space. Either one can be deleted - just click and press Del.

Even the name of an invisible instrument, due to "hide empty staves", could be the culprit

That was it! Thanks so much for the tip, Jojo; I forgot that I had set the empty staves to be hidden, and we are talking about a large hybrid pseudo-orchestral work exported from Sibelius in which some synth parts have long descriptive names. I'm just learning without any hurry and adapting to Musescore's ways, but when I finish its editing I'll probably share it here.

Thank you very much for the reply, Marc! While the issue was related to Jojo's remark, it's good to take into account what you say about frames and other potential hidden culprits in these cases.
A little OT, but it's very nice to see that Musescore has gone such a long way during these years; congratulations! I'll probably be joining the ship soon...
Oh, and one detail : the fact that I said "chamber work" in the first post and the "large pseudo-orchestral work" afterwards has a reason : the beginning is a chamber-like prelude, so I sumarized to be brief...
