MuseScore wont process my files, and can't show them.

Can I save the files into other types without actually going into the document? I have the PDF, I have the MSCZ, but I can't change the format to use it on anything else because Musescore won't open it!

MuseScore will only open a few file types: mscx. mscz and xml. You can use File->Import to import PDF files, but don't count on it working well. Try the files and see what happens. If the import doesn't work you will need to input the score by hand.

As mentioned, MuseScore can't open a PDF any more than Word can open MuseScore file. But if you have the MSCZ, you should be able to open it. What goes wrong when you try? Can you attach one of the MSCZ files you are having trouble with?

I have the PDF of the provided attachments, but I put it through the Musescore import to get the MSCZ files, and they don't open through Musescore. But if I could change them to a different format, perhaps they would open, maybe even a different software, but as far as I've come, I haven't been able to find a way to change it's format without specifically OPENING the piece, therefore, not being able to open it on Musescore has prevented me from doing so. I simply need to transpose the Trombone part within the songs to Baritone T. C. but I guess my last resort is writing it all out? :(

You say you tried the PDF import feature to convert to MSCZ but they don't open - in order to help,. we'd need to see the actual MSCZ files. Could be they are just ordinary and easily-fixable corruptions, but we'd need you to attach the file in order to say. But it's also possible the conversion was too unsuccessful to be a useful starting place. PDF import is highly experimental, basically amounting to cutting-edge AI technology. It's not very reliable. So very often you'll be better off entering the music into MsueScore manually. Still way faster than actually transposing and writing it out by hand.
