UPdate hangs
When I start musescore it runs into the update and hangs there. Please tell me what to do.

Hi, this does not work for me, as the installer says: Installation is beeing prepared. And then waiting. But ill check further. Thanks

-s works. I use Musescore to play midis and print the notes :D. I can start, but without synthesizer I cant anymore. My printer is not the problem. I let the installer "hang" over night and it came back with the message: "update server is not responding".
Again, it hangs on the installer and shows that an installer is preparing installation. And there it is waiting for something. How can I find what it is searching for?

Try updating (or uninstalling and reinstalling the audio drivers). Check known incompatibilities https://musescore.org/en/handbook-support/known-incompatibilities
I can start, but without synthesizer I cant anymore
Open a score;
Open the Synth, Fluid tab, and pressed the "add" button, MuseScore_General.sf3 appears;
Click the "Set as Default" button.

Thanks :-). But Synthesitzer is greyed out now as I start with -s. So we have a catch 22 here. LOL. I would rather try to fool the updater as there seems to be the problem. The Problem started after the Windows 10 upgrade (April update which was a big one I think).

Found a workaround: I disconnected the comp from all networks and started MuseScore normal. Then I go attached message. (Update Server not found). After this MuseScore started normal and I could uncheck the automated updates. Since then it worked with all modules.
