No sound when playing score
Hi,
When I want to play my score there is no sound audible. The metronome is audible, but the score isn't. I have not set anything on mute.
System: MacBook macOS Sierra 10.12.5
MuseScore: 2.1.0 rev. 871c8ce
Anyone has a clue?

I don't understand your comment. The problem is that the metronome is audible when I turn it on. But the score isn't.

Neither the score nor the metronome was working for me. I reset musescore to the factory default and everything is working again.

What version of MuseSCore, what OS? What does the Synthesizer's Fluid tab show?

The problem is not in a specific file. But here is one of the scores where the problem occurs.

Tried the first two options, including resetting to factory defaults, but that didn't help.
Is it still worth trying to install a different sound file?

Here (Windows) ' Il est bel et bon' play regularly.
You can try changing Soundfont as suggested in Jojo's liink
However, it could also be a problem with the playback of MuseScore 2.1 and Mac for some users. Could you check, if the playback with version 2.0.3 works for you?

I installed 2.0.3 and the sound plays perfectly! Thanks for the suggestion.
But .... what confuses me is that on my iMac, with the same OS version as on my MacBook, I don't have the problem with the playback. But that is a puzzle for Apple specialists. For now I am glad that I can take my MuseScore with me on the train and do some rehearsals while traveling!

This is a puzzle for MuseScore specialists, too. ;-) Which year/model MacBook do you have? That may help to narrow down the problem.
