RESTS
Hello Guys, I'm getting the hang of the Musescore program but I ran into a small problem.
How do Isolate (or compartmentalize) multiple bars of rests? Instead of 16 bars of rest how do I choose to prefer 6 & 10, or 9 & 7 ? I've been trying to do this with zero results. Thanks Musescore.

I guess you mean you have 16 empty bars and are using multimeasure rests, but want the rest broken at a particular palce? This happens automatically at all the places that normally would do this - double bars, rehearsal marks, key changes, etc. So just make sure one of these events is present - presumably, the one that is causing you to want to break the rest there. If nothing else, a double bar is the norm.
If for some unconventional reason you need to break a rest without using or other triggering event (this virtually never happens in published music), you can right click the measure you want to start a new section, Measure Properties, Break multimeasure rest.

It worked perfectly Marc, thanks again. One more thing, I need to write a triplet. How do I execute this?
