setting to display key signature in every measure

• Dec 30, 2018 - 10:54

For some reason Musescore is displaying the key signature in every measure.
If this is an option, it got turned on in my case accidentally. How can I turn it off?

I'm attaching the score which demonstrates this phenomenon. The_Swan_.mscx
When I reload the score from scratch, I don't see the key signatures in every measure.

I'm using
version OS: macOS High Sierra (10.13), Arch.: x86_64, MuseScore version (64-bit): 3.0.0.20100, revision: 96c1f7b

I generated this score by downloading
https://musescore.com/user/98918/scores/416356
And changing the instruments, piano to harp, and cello to baritone oboe.
Then changing the key from G to F.

It seems to be reproducible. Just
1) load the score from https://musescore.com/user/98918/scores/416356
2) Change the instrument, cello, to Baritone Oboe, using Edit Staff Properties
3) Format Page Settings, and change Staff spacing to 1.364mm
4) Select all using Cmd-A
5) Tools -> Transpose... (and change key By Key, Down to F Major)

It also seems that when you try to playback this score, It freezes temporarily from time to time. and then continues. That might be just an artifact of my particular machine and memory situation.

In case anyone here in 2024 or in the future stumbles on this, I did it too. I think to create the issue, I had selected all measures when I changed the key signature. And the solution was to click on every extraneous key signature and delete it. Fixed!
