Files Incompatibility bewteen MuseScore 3.0 and 2.3.2

Hi, gang!!!

I use UbuntuStudio 18.04.1 LTS with MuseScore 3.0.0 Portable version.

I discovered that, if I create an score with the last version, I can not to read it with the older version!!!

Up to me, It shouldn't be that way. Any new version should to improve the older functionality of the software, BUT... There should be files interchange compatibility... "Just in case"!!! My idea!!!

Is there some "solution" to this issue???

The internal format of scores has changed. There is no way to make a version 2 score open a version 3 score directly. You can export a 3.0 score to musicxml and open it in version 2.

This is not unusual. Version 3 does open version 2 scores and efforts a being made to make them look as similar as possible.
