Glissandos don't work in Musescore 3.0.1.5087

Additionally, I don't like the way the new timeline (when you press F12) looks. It would be nice if there was an option to go back to the old view of seeing all the pages at once and clicking and dragging a box to change the view. I'm going to continue using Musescore 2.3.2 for now until I see a great and compelling reason to make the switch. For example, if pitch bend works the way it's supposed to work, the way pitch bend works in other DAWs like Cubase, which I haven't been able to use since my community college days.

Arpeggios do work, same way they did in 2.x
If they don't for you, please provide a sample score

The navigator is still available, you don't have to use the timeline.

You can use 2.3.2 and 3.0.1 in parallel

I am fully aware that I can use both versions of the program at once, thanks. The problem I have is in measure 6 of this song: https://musescore.com/user/27997005/scores/5332164 In Musescore 2, I got a nice glissando out of that guitar, but in Musescore 3, it fails to play and sounds worse.

How do I access the traditional navigator I'm used to seeing when I press F12? Do I have to learn a new keyboard shortcut to get that? F12 no longer does what it used to?

Sorry, I misspoke. I meant glissando. The glissando on the guitar part in measures 6 and 22 in my score do not play like they did in Musescore 2. However, for some reason, the glissando I have on the trumpet parts in this song (measures 42 and the very end) in Musescore 3 do work. Perhaps the new Musescore doesn't like the super-short distance between the notes I have for the guitar?

Hey there! I’m currently remaking the timeline. I would love to hear what you don’t like and what can be improved. Also, the navigator can be opened via the View menu as well.
Thanks!

To be clear: while the shortcut for F12 has changed form the old Navigator to the new and more functional Timeline, if you think you'll want to use the Navigator more often, then you can reassign the shortcut in Edit / Preferences / Shortcuts. Or just use View / Navigator and skip the shortcut.

As for the compelling reason to make the switch, there is one enormous one, and it's called "automatic placement". As an example of how amazingly powerful and time -saving this is, consider the default layout of this score in MuseScore 2.3.2:

compared to what you get by default in MuseScore 3:
