Weird BPM in 6/8 time.
I'm working on an arrangement for a video game song and I know:
The song is in 6/8 time.
I'm sure the tempo is (dotted quarter note) = 64.5
Is there a way to figure out a tempo that uses a whole number?

Use 63 or 66 (they are on older mechanical metronomes too) or round to 65. You won't notice the difference in tempo. MuseScore (and most other programs messing with tempo, AFAIK) can only use integer tempi.

Alright, I was hoping to be as accurate as possible so I think I will just round to 65. Thanks anyway!

MuseScore allows for Tempo makring to have one decimal digit currently, a 2nd has been requested, see #278847: 2 decimal places for tempos
