Back-to-back repeats
Hi, I'm new to Musescore and am enjoying using it to write and print off dance tunes with chords for the boys in the band. One thing I'm having trouble trying to do is putting an 'end repeat' and a 'start repeat' back to back within a bar (it's no problem at the end of a bar). How can I do this, or can't I?

Hurrah!!! I found the answer already, but in the 'Feature Request' part of the forum, not the 'General Discussion'. (It seems you have to split the bar first, then it works).

Nop, split measzre is not needed, but apply end repeat to measure n and start repeat to measure n+1

That only gives me the symbols at the end of a bar (measure). I want them mid-bar, which is why I have to split the bar first, as I have already discovered.

Ah, OK, yes, in this case the split is needed

Thanks for your trouble. It's good to have things confirmed.

You only need to split the measure if the repeat is to be in the middle of the measure.

Thanks, and yes, that is what I want to do.
