Naming instruments to open the staff
Before I could name an instrument by right clicking on where the name should go and finding staff/property tab and type the instrument name in.
However, if I do that now the block does not open for me to type. Can anybody help me? Jojo, you have helped me a lot in the past, what is your take on this?

right-click into (an empty spot of) the staff > Staff properties, change long and short instrument name there

Style, Page Settings and Load StyleTried that Jojo and it brought up a box with three choices - Style, Page Settings and Load Style.
Now if I click in a box with the instrument name in it a box comes up that offers me choices, among which is Staff/Part Properties and if I click on this nothing comes up. Before when I did this I could add or change the instrument name.

?? Again: right-click into (an empty spot of) the staff , selecte Staff/Part Properties, in that dialog change Long and Short instrument name
