Multi MEasure Rests
Hi
Im trying to make a multi measure rest for 7 bars.
In Format-style-score, I have turned on multimeasure rest.
I highlight the 7 bars and try toggling the M.
I am not being too successful.
Thanks

No need to highlight, just press M

Thank you but I dont seem to be getting it right.
My score has 7 bars in the beginning that needs to be in a milti bar rest. If I push M then the rests lower in the piece change - please see file 1 and file 2.
I have read the manual around page 54 and 70 something and page 94 but Im clearly not doing something correctly.
Please advise. Thanks

Seems we'd need to look at the score, something strange seems to be going on with "break multimeasure rests" on some (most!) measures

I imported it from an OVE file from the Overture program.
I have attached for your perusal.
Thanks

Why not attaching the score (too)?
But yes, I guess the next question would have been for the overall source

I found a work around. Not sure if it was the best way.
I deleted all the measures then inserted them manually in their respective quantities - 7, 8 etc. When I hit the M button, they became multi-measure rests.
