create beams for eight notes, etc
I can't connect eight notes or other vault notes.... tried Beam Properties...nothing seems to work.
Any help would be appreciated ....thanks

Just in case you hand't realized this:
You can't turn quarter notes into eighth notes by adding a beam. They have to already be eighth notes (entered with the eighth note icon on the toolbar or keyboard shortcut "4"). ANd in that case, beams will be created by default. The beam properties are only for changing details of how many eighth notes are beamed together, etc.
