Parentheses in file name?
A friend of mine using MuseScore 3, installed version, on Windows, was unable to open a file I sent him in email with parentheses (e..g, "(3)") in its name. The file system had no trouble creating it, but the open dialog in MuseScore said "file not found" when he clicked on it. I can't reproduce it because I'm not running Windows. My Mac build has no trouble with it. This happened repeatedly.

I've never had a problem with parentheses in a title. Perhaps you could strip down the file save it in another place with the same name and then add it here so someone like me on windows can try it.
Maybe a variant of #287955: In Windows Explorer, files with special characters in filepath don't open when double-clicked?
Saving the file and opening it via File > Open should work though

Aha! The name had other special characters in it (the raised "o" of "No." meaning "number". ) But he created it on MuseScore with Windows. Let me ask him if he double-clicked, I bet that's it.

Creating those is not the problem, opening via File > Open neither, but double clicking is
