yes, but how do i get it into that very location. i tried once beofre and it appeared ABOVE the title.

Also, is there a way to indicate explicitly the score is in c by some marking in the staff other than there being n sharps or flats?

No flats and sharps means C major / a minor, no way nor need to have any additional marking

thanks. i am dealing with bb clarinets and am such a beginner that the teacher mentioned that my notes are so odd that the players should have some guidance as to what key he score is written in. i put a note in the box. thanks again.

OK, a score for only Bb clarinet that should be in C Major, would have accidentals, those of D Major, 2 sharps

as i said, i am a beginner and i know things should be in a certain way but i don't know precisely the way, which is i think why the teacher wanted me to be explicit. there are 2 bb clarinets and one bass clarinet.
