Export midi without repeats?
Hello,
I want to export a score to midi without repeats. With audio files, one just unselect "Play Repeats" in the playback controls. However, with midi, the repeats are still exported when Play Repeats is unselected? Is there a way to export midi without repeats?

Hi,
You can try to unroll repats before export to midi.

I don't think that will help the situation unless the user then deletes the measures they don't want to hear.

He wants to export the midi without the repeats playing, like when you turn off the play repeats and play your score. Apparently the repeats always get played when you export to midi.
I don't use that format so I'm not sure if there is a way to do this except to delete any jump text and replace it with System text and then set the repeats in each measure with a repeat to 1. In reality, if you have a DC or DS this is the only text you would need to get rid of. The segnos, codas and fines would then be ignored. You do need to set repeat counts to 1 though. This is just tedious, but easy enough to undo if you only want to make a midi version one time. Export the midi, then close your score without saving it and all of the edits since your last save will be lost.
Seems a bug to me

Thanks everyone for your replies everyone. I've posted it as a bug in the Tracker: #296169: Option to honor "Play Repeats" in MIDI export
