Pizzicato
Hello,
I am having difficulties in applying the technique "pizzicato". It only works in a few staves. Why this simple technique does still has so many complex steps since my first use of this Musescore software? Is there a way to simplify the use of this technique? It would be so nice if we only had to select the "pizz." / "arco" text in the notes we desire.
Thank you!

This is what it does, if using a recent version of MuseScore, the corresponding textx from the Texts palette, having created the scores from scratch or a tempelate and using instruments that do have a pizzicato channel

Yes. But it only works that way? For example, I am having this difficulty in working on a Musicxml file that I have imported to Musescore from another music notation program that I use too (Sibelius). Is there a way to solve this issue?

Within the MuseScore app (and to the credit of the MS team), mid-staff sound change - e.g., "pizz." / "arco" - has been simplified.
Here's how it was done not too long ago (perhaps you're familiar):

It required multiple steps and manual channel changing. Nowadays, it's greatly streamlined.

That second bit is an important piece of information you did not mention originally,
Importation of files from 'outside' MuseScore (e.g. Musicxml, MIDI, etc.) can present anomalies when opened in MuseScore, so initially it's best to include such information when posting support issues and bug reports.
Glad you got it sorted, though.
Regards.

Once again my thanks, but I had already thanked Jojo-Schmitz.
Thank you for your attention.

It is unclear to me though why Musicxml import seems to not pick up the MuseScore violin definitions/settings.
Might be worth being reported I'm the issue tracker, along with sample files
