Hiding Single instruments and Instrument Groups
I am using version 3.3.4.9134
I want to hide one instrument (entire staff) or an instrument group (many staves) to conserve screen space.
Is it possible to hide an Instrument Group with a single command without opening individual dialog boxes for each instrument?
BTW, I have not had any success hiding entire staves which contain notes.
RMB -> "Staff/Part Properties"
I tried various combinations of "Hide When Empty" [Auto, Always, Instrument, Never] and "Do not hide if system is empty".

Thank you for your reply. Hiding and unhiding 7 instrument would require 14 steps, 2 per instrument.
It's not totally clear what the goal is here, but if you are for instance trying to view just the winds or just the strings in an orchestra score, an easy way is to generate a "part" for the section you want (File / Parts, define a new part manually by selecting which staves you want).

Thanks Marc, I will try creating multiple stave parts.
My original question/feature request was an easy way to hide unwanted (distracting) instrument groups.

I think you'll find this does the job simply and easily. If somehow it doesn't meet your needs, please attach a sample score and describe what you are trying to do in more detail so we can understand and assist better.

I don't understand how to hide some instruments parts when the instrument play. I would want to see on my string for instance only double bass and winds on an orchestral score. I don't know how to make that.

It is really easy with 4.1 version you just select it !!!
