unpitched percussion note entry issue
i just updated to 3.4.1.9660
When ever I attempt to either enter notes into a drum set un-pitched percussion or change notes, as soon as i click on the note input on the bottom of the screen/score it places a hi-tom note in the selected measure usually at count 1.
an example would be i want to add a kick beat. i click on the drum part to select the particular measure, press "n" on the keyboard to enter note input mode, select the bass drum and when i select the kick, all by itself i get a mid tom note on count 1 and the kick sound.
this didn't occur with the previous version. what am i doing wrong?

Known issue will be fixed in the upcomming 3.4.2 and is already fixed in the development builds

Thanks for the heads up.
Actually, a different bug is fixed, not sure if this one is. I will bet your score starts out with a transposing instrument like trumpet on the first staff, and you have concert pitch turned off. Try turning it on. A bug is causing us to "transpose" the drum notes too. See #291522: Double-click on drum palette produces wrong note when transposing instrument at top of score and concert pitch off

Funny you mention that. I did have a trumpet on the first staff and I have concert pitch turned off. I have templates that I made for specific arrangements and I do everything in the pitch of the instrument because there are times I get players that aren't comfortable with concert pitch.
So I guess I'll find out after the next version.

To be clear: I’m suggesting turning on concert pitch just temporarily, while entering notes. Then turn it off, so your players can read their parts normally. This bug has been present quite a while, it’s not new, and as per the bug report I linked, still not fixed.

i'll give it a try and thanks for the advise.
