Playback Static Sound
When I attempt playback, I get a glitchy static sound (sort of like a big toy helicopter) and it won't play the music. Any advice what could the be the issue? Closing the file doesn't stop the glitch/sound. The only way to stop it is to close Musescore completely.

Try restart "Windows Audio" under Services and Applications or equivalent on Mac. Or even open synthesizer and slightly decrease the volume

I have a Mac. I accessed "Sound," as you can see in the attached file, and moved the output volume down halfway. Problem persists.

What about the Synthesizer?

Is that internal to Musescore or is that in the Mac settings?

Looks like the default settings. Should be sane.
