jim wahler (https://musescore.com/user/3780891) sent a message: I have downloaded your new MuseScore 3.0.5 on my Mac High Sierra 10.13.6. When trying to download one of your downloads, it says I need to download your MuseScore 3.0.5 which I already have. Other songs that I have downloaded on MuseScore work still fine on my MuseScore 2.3.2.
Can you help me???
Does your new MuseScore 3.0.5 actually work on the Mac High Sierra 10.13.6???
Thank you.

If 3.0.5 does not start, try the workaround: https://musescore.org/en/node/285057#comment-899400
I have been working in MuseScore2 on High Sierra 10.13.6 so I have the same question, because I want to keep working on MuseScore before I switch to Dorico. :) (If ever)

MuseScore 3.0.5 is pretty old now, the current version is 3.4.2 (and 3.5 is coming soon). All recent versions of MuseScore should run fine on any version of macOS 10.10 or higher.
