Thanks but not worked for me. I tried both: help>revert to factory, and on terminal $ musescore -F, but no luck.

reset shortcuts to default?
delete MuseScore preference?
the file is located at ~/.config/MuseScore/MuseScore2.ini

No luck...
What I did:
rm ~/.config/MuseScore/MuseScore2.ini
In reply to No luck... What I did: rm by agitato816
Shortcuts are not in that ini file, but in a shortcuts.xml file IIRC
Revert to factory settings should delete this one too

I did factory resetting, but still no change...

On my linux, shortcuts.xml doesn't exist.
MuseScore Ver. 2.0.3 3c7a69d
$ sudo updatedb
$ locate shortcuts.xml
no result.

May not exist if not changed from default

These aren't shortcuts; they are "mnemonics". They are not customizable and they don't get saved, so there is no file to find, nothing to revert. Apparently your window manager isn't compatible with the way Qt specifies that mnemonics should be shown. Probably something about the way this particular window manager separates the menu bar from the application window; xfce4 uses the more traditional arrangements and the mnemonics work fine.

Thanks Marc. Did you mean my desktop window manager causes this issue?
I'm on Ubuntu 16.04
Window Manager is Unity 7.4.0 (default on 16.04)
ARC Theme and Moka Icons
There is no way to fix this? I think my DE setup is very popular in linux world.
Thanks

Qt5 apps and Unity menus have a long and troubled history... At one given moment, the shortcuts were not even working.. (see for example https://bugs.launchpad.net/appmenu-qt5/+bug/1380702).
The latest Ubuntu bug I could find is https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/appmenu-qt/+bug/1597991 it has a workaround. In any case, it seems this is not a MuseScore bug.

This workaround works, but original unity(ubuntu 16.04) appmenu is disabled.
sudo apt remove appmenu-qt appmenu-qt5

So it's probably a bug in Unity. Please add your voice to the Ubuntu issue tracker.

Basically, MuseScore asks Qt to construct the menu a certain way, then Qt handles some details but asks asks the OS / window manager to handle the rest. Somehow it seems that last step is probably not going right - Qt doens't know how to communicate with Unity, I guess, probably because it is so different from more traditional Linux window managers. Seems like something for Qt to work out with Unity.
