Ties
When I select two adjacent notes and tie them additional ties appear after the one selected which I have to delete. Any similar problems? Solution?

select just one and then tie (to the next). Ties are between 2 adjacent notes of same pitch, only slurs can span multiple notes, only for those it makes sens to select 2 notes (start and end)
