Original Instruments.xml file?
I recently found an Instruments.xml file that suited my needs for a piece I was working on. Now, when I try to open MuseScore2, it will open the window, but I can not view or click on the window to see the score. I have a feeling that it has something to do with the fact that I replaced the file. Could someone post the original xml file so that I can revert back to the old file?
Thanks,

Probably best to just reinstall so you get the correct one for your particular version of MuseScore and language.
In the future, if you need to work with a customized instruments.xml, don't actually replace the standard one. Instead, save the new one elsewhere, then tell MuseScore to use it via Edit / Preferences / Score. Ideally, you wouldn't have a full replacement for the original, but instead just a file containing the additions you want, so you'd use this *in addition to*, not *instead of*, the default.

Thanks. I will probably just use the factory settings or reinstall.

Reinsewould keep the settings, so most probably not help here

Depends on what was done originally.
If you actually replaced the file - overwriting the original file with a new one - then revert won't help, you will need to reinstall. If, however, you left the original where it was but used Edit / Preferences / Score to tell MuseScore to use yours instead of the default, then reinstall won't help, you will need to revert.

That was meant to read 'reinstall'
