Font for Lyrics in PNG format
I'm importing music into a desktop publisher (Scribus) to make a program. When I convert to PNG, the font for the lyrics looks strange (not the usual Times New Roman). If I use PDF format, the image looks blurry. Any suggestions? Thanks!

Whuch version of MuseScore are you using? On which OS ?
Do you convert to PNG via File -> Save as? Can you attach a file, the corresponding PNG and PDF?

Thanks for the reply.
I'm using version 1.0 (Would downloading the newest version help with this?)
I'm working with Mac OS X (10.6.8).
Right -- I convert to PNG via File -> Save as.
I'm attaching a PNG and a PDF. (The PDF is exported to Scribus -- the original PDF image is fine, but it becomes blurry when I import into the publishing program.)
Thanks--
Mark

You should give the latest version (1.1) a try first.

I've downloaded the latest version and the problem is the same. The text looks blockish, and the lowercase s's in particular are fuzzy.

If the original PDF is fine, then I'm comfused - this seems like a Scribus issue, not a MuseScore issue, no?
As for the PNG, posting the actual MSCZ file would help.

Thanks for your reply -- I've been away for a few days.
I mentioned the PDF, because that was the only alternative I could think of to using PNG in a publishing program. The main issue is why the font on the PNG looks funny.
I've attached both the PNG and the MSCZ file. When you zoom in, the difference in the font is quite evident. Hope that helps.

No idea why it comes out that way for you, but when I exported PNG from your example using 1.1 on my Vista, it looks good. Could be some sort of Qt/MacOS issue.
